SMC products are obtained by blending suitable reinforcement materials, resins, fillers, catalysts, mold release agents, and other additives that impart different properties to the final product. This paste-like mixture is then processed through compression rollers between polyethylene or polyamide films to form sheets. These sheets, prepared in the appropriate quantity and composition for the intended product, are molded at 120-170°C under 140-170 bar pressure for 1-4 minutes. SMC products are lightweight with high hardness and strength. They exhibit excellent dimensional stability and are widely used in the automotive, electrical & electronics, and infrastructure industries.
